Johnny Mashburn

Johnny "J.D." Dexter Mashburn 73 of Hickory died Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born  March 31st, 1943 he was the son of the late Jessie Mashburn and Pearl Rector  Mashburn.   His wife, Freda Maxine Burnette Mashburn; two daughters, Ann Shelly of Conover and Norma Jane Emerson of Edwards, OK; three sons, Steven Dexter Mashburn of Swannana, NC , Jerry B.J. Emerson of Claremont and Jim Emerson of Sallisaw, OK; a brother, Leon Mashburn of Asheville; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren survive him.
