Johnny Ray Pierce, 58 of Newton died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Catawba Regional Hospice.
Born July 25, 1954, he was the son of the late Harvel Matheson Pierce and Zula Inez Shook Pierce.
A daughter, Tara Wilson of Cherryville; two sons, Christopher Pierce and Paul Pierce, both of Vale; three sisters, Jasperine Elizabeth Bradshaw of Claremont, Barbara Jane Martin of Louisburg, TN and Phyllis Ann Fox of Newton; and a brother, Wayne Calvin Pierce of Ruther Glen, VA survive him.
A brother, James Andrew Piece preceded him in death.
A service will be announced at a later date.
