Jonathan Browning

Jonathan Edward Browning, 10 of 6401 Alley Road, Catawba died Sunday, October 11, 2009 at his home. He was born December 28, 1998 in Catawba County, to parents Donald Joe Browning & Sandra Gail Painter, of the home. Jonathanâ??s smile lit the hearts of his Mother and Father. Despite a lot of physical suffering he was a happy child, loved horseplay with his Dad, loved to be hugged & loved giving hugs to others. He loved anything to do with water, enjoyed fishing and was excited when others caught a fish. His brother Chris was his best friend.   A sister; Olivia Elaine Freeman of Chapmanville, West Virginia; a brother, Corporal Christopher Scott Wallace of Camp Pendleton, California; Maternal grand-parents, Hazel & Dean Painter of Gaffney, SC; numerous cousins; three Aunts, Frances Massey of Gaffney, SC, Delores Lambert of Harts, West Va., Patricia Lanier of Gaffney,  SC and a great Aunt, Mavis Johnson of Chapmanville, West, Va., survive him. Paternal grand-parents, Eugene & Zelda Browning preceded him in death. A celebration of Jonathanâ??s life will be held at his residence, 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Pastor Chuck Winters will officiate. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, October 13, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. noon until 9:00 p.m., at their residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Jonathan Browning Memorial Fund, 4081 Startown Road, Newton NC 28658.
