Jonathan Bernard Hamright 54, of Newton passed away Thursday, November 10th, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born April 7th, 1962, he was the son of the late James and Roberta Hamright.
In addition to his wife Helen; two daughters Alexis Heller and fiancé Paul of the home, Shaquita Whittenburg of Kentucky; three sons, The Rev. Matthew Farley of the home, Patrick Hamright of Lexington, NC, Curtis Farley and wife Cassara of Alaska; four sisters, Minister Debra Ransom and husband Joel of Lincolnton, Kim Hamright Cline and husband Frank of Crouse, NC, Lydia Hamright Gause of Tennesse, Lolita Hamright Bryant of Georgia; one brother Rodney Hamright of Lincolnton; and three grandchildren, Xiomara Farley, Xylia Farley, and Auden Hamright survive him.
The funeral will be 2:00pm Wednesday, November 16th, 2016 at Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Lincolnton with Rev. Charles Ferguson and Minister Gwen Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30pm -2:00 pm Wednesday, November 16th, 2016 at the church.
