Joseph Charles Dukes, Jr., 60 of Newton died Monday, March 30th, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born March 4th, 1955, he was the son of Joseph Dukes. His wife of 18 years, Gwendolin Sue Elswick Dukes of the home; two sons, Joseph Dukes of Tampa, FL and Barret Dukes of Ohio; two daughters, Phoebe Dukes of Ohio and Amelia Dukes of Ohio; a step son, Stanley Elswick of Wesley Chapel, FL; two sisters, Marlene Vertock of Tampa, FL and Darlene Pope of Panama City, FL survive him.
