Joseph Owings

Joseph James Owings, 25, of Landrum, SC died Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born, March 12, 1997, he was the son of Joseph Eugene Anthony and Heather Capri Owings.

In addition to his parents, Joseph Anthony and Heather Owings, two sisters, Jada Anthony Pope and husband Lance of Cherryville and Virginia Anthony and husband Jonathan of Maiden; two brothers, Cameron Morrison of Cherryville and Owen Morrison of Lincolnton; paternal grandmother, Gloria Anthony of Maiden; four aunts, Emma Starnes of Conover, Hope Mullins and husband Randy of Maiden and Cricket Kiziah and husband David of Denver, NC and Teresa Scott of Lincolnton; one uncle, Carol Anthony of Marshville; cousins, Jordan, Jacob, Josh, Chris, Jeffrey Alissa, Logan and Garrett survive him.

His grandparents, Robert Anthony, Grandmother Valerie preceded him in death.

The funeral will be Tuesday, September 27th at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center. The family will receive friends and family from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The Memorial Service will follow in the same location at 4:00 PM.
