Josephine Rivoire

Josephine Brady Rivoire 87 of Conover, died Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at Conover Nursing Home. Born February 9th, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John Brady and Ella Bryan Hupp. Josephine worked for the Charles County Library for over 30 years. She was a strong believer in Christ, and her favorite verse was Psalms 71. A daughter Stephanie Sowell and husband John of Jane Lew, West Virginia; a son John Richard Rivoire of Raleigh; a sister Caroline Marcum of Hickory; two grandchildren Johnna McCarthy, Shawn Sowell; one great grandchild Breanna McCarthy; a niece, Winnie Lovern of Newton and her children Christopher Lovern, Meagan Rinaldo, Sarah Beth Lovern; and her best friend Becky Boyd survive her. In addition to her parents, a grandson Tommy Sowell precedes her in death. A graveside will be held at Saint James Episcopal Church on Bumpy Oak Road, Indian Head MD. 5:00pm Wednesday September 21, 2016 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association at 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201.
