Joua Lee, age 89 of Connelly Springs died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care. She was born April 21, 1924 in Laos.
In addition to her husband, Chia Yee Vue of the home; three sons, Vong Vue of Connelly Springs, NC, Juono Vue of Morganton and Paul Vue of Lansing MI; two sisters, Va Vue of Connelly Springs and Bee Vue of Lansing, MI; a brother, Lee Chao Ly survive her.
The Hmong funeral will begin on Friday, February 14, 2014 and conclude on Sunday, February 16, 2014. The Celebration will be held at the Jenkins Pavilion and Gathering Center of Jenkins Funeral Home on Startown Road in Newton.
Burial will follow on Sunday at Burke Memorial Park in Morganton.
