Joyce Stacy

Joyce Bassett Stacy 61, of Lincolnton died Friday, April 15th, 2016 at CMC Charlotte. Born December 4th, 1954, she was the daughter of Joan Bassett and the late Benny Bassett.

Two daughters, Stacy Angle and husband Scottie of Lincolnton; Nancy Guy and husband Matthew of Maiden; a son Carl Womeldorf of Cherryville; three sisters, Diana Tate and husband Charlie of West Point, KY, Rose Keith of Lincolnton, Rita Goatley and husband Alvin of Hawesville, KY; a brother Leslie Bassett and wife Lisa of Maiden; Six Grandchildren Christopher Angle, Dillon Guy, Terry Womeldorf, Tyler Womeldorf, Breanna Blanton, Noah Guy; two great grandchild Lillian Blanton, Aria Blanton;her former husband Lonnie Womeldorf and Several nieces and nephews survive her.

In addition to her father a sister Elizabeth Bassett and a brother Chuck Bassett preceded her in death.


A private family service was held on Sunday April 17, 2016.
