Joyce Withers

Joyce Marie Withers, 66 of Hickory died Sunday, January 10th, 2016 at Brian Center East. Born August 9th, 1949 she was the daughter of the late James Monroe Gordon and Edith Linville Gordon. Her fiancé, Jimmy Kirksey of Hickory; two daughters, Alice Tolbert of Granite Falls and Nina McCarn of Belmont; two sisters, Virginia Church of Hamptonville and Janet Whitaker of Hamptonville; six grandchildren, Seth Tolbert, Caleb Tolbert, Valerye McCarn, Delilah McCarn, Savannah McCarn and Carson Blantan; one great grandchild, Kade Tolbert and a grand daughter-in-law Brittany Tolbert survive her. A son, James Edward Treadway, Jr., four brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death. The funeral will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 13th, 2016 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
