Juan Carlos Ly, 49, of Maiden passed away Monday, September 17th, 2018 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born January 13th, 1969 he was the son of Carlos Ly, and Luisa and Grady Williams. He was a loving husband and father, and loved football and a passionate New York Yankee fan.
In addition to his parents; his grand mother Renee Alfaro of Costa Rica, his spouse Karen Ly, three children, Jessica, Justin and Nani, his sister Maria and Christopher Wilson of Newton, two nephews Michael and Josiah, a niece, Vanessa , many cousins and family members in Costa Rica survive him.
His grandfather, Mario Ly of Costa Rica and Jack Eulitt, his mentor, preceded him in death.
"You can take the Yankee out of New York, but you can't take New York out of the Yankee."
The funeral will be 4:00 pm Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:45 pm Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at The Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home .
