Juan Salazar Boza

Juan Bautista Salazar Boza 71 of Hickory formerly of Costa Rica died Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born August 27th, 1951 he was the son of Eduardo Salazar Montoya and Arcelia Boza Richmond.
His wife, Teodora Maria of Newton; two daughters, Jacqueline Montes and husband Francisco of Hickory and Marilyn Dayanna Cabalceta and husband, Alexander; a son, John Kenneth Salazar Ponce; five grandchildren; Adenik Salazar, Brandon Cabalceta, Kasey Cabalceta, Arianny Salazar and Samay Salazar; four sisters and two brothers survive him.
The funeral Mass will be 3:00 pm Friday at St Joseph's Catholic Church, with Father Jim Collins Officiating. Burial will be at Cementerios De Tres Rios in Costa Rica.
The family will gather and receive friends from 2-3:00 pm Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
