Judy Powell

Judy Geraldine Setzer Powell, 68 of Lower Cedar Valley Road, Hudson, died Sunday December 7, 2008 at Hospice of Caldwell County. Born May 26, 1940, the daughter of the late Vivian Elizabeth Blevins and Don Reid Setzer, she worked with Great American Hosiery as a buyer. Two daughters, Crystal Dula of Hickory and Angela Rumley and her husband James, Sr. of Taylorsville; two sisters, Donna Kay Setzer of Hudson and Sylvia Leigh Forbis of Hickory; and three grandchildren, Amilla Rumley, Shane Triplett and James Rumley, Jr. survive her. A daughter, Tammy Huffman preceded her in death. No services are planned. Memorials may be sent to the Catawba County Humane Society, PO Box 63, Hickory, NC 28603.
