Julia Ann Thornton, 67, of Claremont was healed in Heaven on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Born September 16th, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Billy Wall and Frances Purdy Wall.
She is survived by her two daughters Lera Nicole Thornton (and spouse Wayne DeLoach) and Laurie Leigh Townsend, her grandchildren Shanteè Ward, Amber DeLoach, Chelsea Townsend (Joey Johnson), and Channa Townsend (Devin Caldwell), her great-grandchildren Lauren Ward, Laiden DeLoach, Pacen DeLoach, and Jadelyn Barus, her sisters Jeanie Smith (husband Brian Smith), Angie Williams, and April Carter, her step-mother Bonnie Wall, special cousin Joey Pulliam, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Billy Wall.
Julia had a passion for others, no matter if they were family or friends. She was an inspiring soul, who was always there for all who came to her with their troubles without any judgment. Just love to give. Her home was open and her love was there. Her love made you feel at home.
She was the most compassionate, understanding woman, and one of the most beautiful souls one could ever meet. She will be greatly missed. Her legacy was to share a piece of her heart with everyone as her heart was big enough for all to share.
She is all well now dancing in the sky with the loved ones all around.
The Celebration of Life will be from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
