Karen Lynn Johnson Druley, 68 of Conover died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at her home. Born June 17, 1943 in Spring Valley, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Roger Leroy Johnson and Jeanette Loretta Manahan. Karen passed from this life to see the glories of heaven. We are thankful that she was able to reach her 68th birthday. Karen loved to play the piano and formed a Christian acapella singing group with family members. She served as a teaching RN for over 30 years in various medical disciplines. Her favorite sport was tennis and she has the tennis family of Rock Barn Golf and Spa to thank for the wonderful times she experienced. Her husband of 48 years, Stephen Dean Druley of the home; three daughters, Heather Turner, Allison Shealy and Meredith Goodwin; a son, Todd; two brothers, Roger Johnson of Franklin, Pennsylvania and Bruce Johnson of Chiloquin, Oregon; seven grand-children, Ariel, Will, Savannah, Levi, Kailyn, Gavin and Caleb survive her. No services are planned at this time. Seven years ago Karen said to Steve, ?You never know how long we are going to be around in this life so, why don?t we celebrate our 40th anniversary like it was our 50th?? So, they booked a vacation to Australia for two weeks. They were both glad they did. According to Steve, their life together was like listening to a symphony.
