Kathryn Gerarden

Kathryn Mary Gerarden 69, of Hickory Passed away Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born April 21st,1945, she was the daughter of the late George Gerarden and Marion Johnson Gerarden. Kathryn was a great teacher and mentor. She taught many students at Western Piedmont Community College. She was an avid cat lover as she was heavily involved in the Siamese rescue center and was looking forward to meeting her kitties at the rainbow bridge. A sister Diane Bangert and husband Bob of Green Bay, WI; a niece Amy Rank and husband Ben of Green Bay, WI; a nephew Brody of Green Bay, WI, survive her. Her mother and father precede her in death.
