The Celebration of Life for Kathy Diane Martin March 9th, 1971- February 17th, 2021 of Omaha, NE and Vale, NC.
Born in Hickory, NC to Eddy Franklin Martin and the late Sharon Gail Taylor, she was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Vale, NC.
Kathy enjoyed Fishing, doting on her beloved cat Hootie, and spoiling her granddaughter Violet.
Survived by her loving wife Christy Knorr of Omaha, NE, children, Sierra Howell of Omaha, NE, Ian Howell of Zephyrhills, FL. Aiden Cantrell of Omaha, NE, granddaughter, Violet Turner of Omaha, NE; father and stepmother, Eddy and Debbie Martin, sister Melissa Martin and spouse Jessica Lamb, stepsister, Casey Blair, aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, and many loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Gail Taylor, and maternal grandparents Dell and Jean Poteat.
A celebration of her life will be held March 6, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at The Heritage Barn. 2575 Emmanuel Church Road Conover, NC 28613. Kathy has requested that everyone wear something orange to the service. Masks are required and must cover your nose and mouth per Kathy's wishes.
