Kathy Owens

Kathy Lynn Owens, 68, of Hickory died Thursday, March 23, 2023 at her residence. Born March 15th, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Tommy Allan Hilton and Margie Maxine Hilton. She was a homebody who loved her grandchildren and watching television.

Three daughters, Susan Nguyen of Lynchburg, VA and Flenna Flowers and husband, Louis of Granite Falls; two sons, Allan Owens of Hickory and Billy Owens and wife Felicia of Hickory; four brothers, Ronald Hilton, Jeff Hilton, Donald Hilton and James Hilton; two sisters, Cheryl Spencer and Renee; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive her.

Two grandchildren, Shona Owens and Christopher Bucchener preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 3-4 pm Wednesday March 29, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
