Kay Christopher 76 of Hickory died Friday, March 25, 2022 at Brian Center East. Born March 28th, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Wade and Azalie Lynn Cook. She enjoyed traveling and loved her family.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years Ray Christopher and her son David Ray Christopher of the home. One sister Robin Cook of Morganton, two brothers Ronnie (Diane) Cook of Morganton, Johnny Cook of Morganton, one grandson Roger Dale Shupe, and one great-granddaughter Keira Shupe also survive her.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Teresa Ann Christopher, three brothers Ray Cook, Norman Cook, Kenneth Cook, and one sister Carol Cook Brittian.
The funeral will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center with Pastor Arthur Yount officiating. Burial will follow at Jenkins Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center prior to the service.
