Kay Cunningham

Kay Kristen Williams Cunningham, 64 of 4th Av Dr. Hickory, died Wednesday October 20, 2010. Born March 27, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Henry Thomas and Ruth Ann Nelson Williams. She was a dedicated volunteer with the Catawba County Humane Society. She was formerly employed at CVCC as an English teacher and worked in public relations at Frye Regional Medical Center. Her husband of 7 years, Timothy Glen Cummings of the home, a step-daughter, Hannah Cummings of Charleston, SC; a brother Butch Williams and his wife Linda of Newton and an aunt, Norma DeFini of Newton survive her. A Celebration of her life ceremony will be privately held by her family. Memorials may be made to the Catawba County Humane Society, PO Box 63, Hickory, NC 28603.
