Kenneth Larry Gales 66 of Newton died Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born November 15th, 1948, he was the son of Carl and Texie Gales. Four daughters Leslie Taggart and husband Dean of Dallas, NC, Elizabeth McGraw and husband Daniel of Mt. View, Danielle Smith of Lincolnton, Tonia Macchia and husband Mike of Hudson;a son Brad Farrar of Forrest City; two sisters Shirley Long of Lincolnton, Libby Jones of Lincolnton; four brothers Paul Wayne Gales and wife Betty of Lincolnton, Lester Gales of Lincoln, GA, Douglas Gales and wife Judy of Lincolnton,Terry Gales and wife Brenda of Lincolnton,NC; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive him. In addition to his parents, his wife of 37 years Linda K. Gales, and a brother Jerry Gales precedes him in death. The funeral will be 10:00am Saturday, August 29th, 2015 at Christ Church Mountain View with Pastor Charles Kyker, Derek Cline, and Robbie Kropiwnicki officiating.
