Kenneth Stewart

Kenneth Lee Stewart, Jr., 37 of Hickory died unexpectedly Monday, July 27th, 2015 at his residence. Born January 11th, 1978 he was the son of Mary Catherine Stewart of the home and the late Kenneth Lee Stewart, Sr. He was employed by H.T. Hackney for the past four years. He enjoyed spending time with his son, Gage, playing video games, Saturday morning hot cakes at McDonald's and going to Chuck E. Cheese's. He was loved tremendously by his family and friends. A son, Gage Ernest Stewart of Hickory and his mother, Lana Hall Stewart of Hickory; his mother, Mary Catherine Stewart of Hickory; two sisters, Kimberly Stewart Jones and husband Corey of Hickory and Shana Starr Stewart of Maiden, a half brother, Steven James Kaufman Bradenton, FL; his paternal grandmother, Miriam Hardy of the home; uncle and aunt, Terrell and Susan Setzer; three nieces, Sydney, Bianca and Marisa and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins survive him. His father, Kenneth Lee Stewart, Sr. preceded him in death. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Friday, July 31st, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Crump officiating.
