Kevin Austin

Kevin Dwain Austin, 55 of Taylorsville died Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born February 8th, 1960 he was the son of the late Garland and Myrtle Deal Austin. In addition to his wife of 17 years Martha Ann Austin; three sons Kyle Austin of Hickory, Josh Austin and wife Tania of Hickory, Jesse Tanner Austin of Taylorsville; a sister Sandra Lyon and husband Lee of Hickory; two grandchildren Grayson Kyle Austin of Hickory, Eli Garrison Austin of Hickory;a sister -in- law Carol Austin; a brother -in- law Johnny Boyles; two aunts, Linda Baker and husband Carroll of Hickory, Gilda Pennell of Conover; an uncle Dave Deal and wife Helen; three nephews Chad Austin of Hickory, Derrick Boyles of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jon Boyles of Newton; four nieces, Heather Lyon of Mooresville, Haley Lyon of Hickory, Summer Boyles of Hickory, Taylor Zak of Greensboro; and a number of great nieces and nephews survive him. In addition to his parents; a sister Gayle Boyles, and a brother Jerry Austin preceded him in death. A memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 25th, 2015 at Harvest Bible Chapel of Hickory with Mark Ikerd and Pastor Mark Schmitz officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am -10:50 am, April 25th, 2015 at Harvest Bible Chapel of Hickory .
