Kevin Daleshawn Danner

Kevin Daleshawn Danner, 43, of Hickory passed away Friday, February 28th, 2025 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born, February 27th, 1982 he was the son of the late Wade McArther Danner and Mary Frances Danner. 

He is survived by his daughter, Areiana Danner (Davaughn); his fiancé, Lauren Barnes; his step-children, Aaliyah Jones and Ayla Jones (Malik); his goddaughter, Hailey Greene; his siblings, Sonya Pearson, Erica Atkinson (Dra), and Thomas Ikard; his step-mother, Annie Danner; his grandchildren, Jace Danner and Raelya Lopp; a host of loved nieces and nephews; his special uncle, Bishop Gaither Danner (Vanessa); his best friends, Bobby Smith, Brandon "Plumpy" Norris, Dennis Keller, and Billy Hylton (Donnia). 

In addition to his parents, Wade McArther Danner and Mary Frances Danner, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wade Jr. Danner; his sister, Ebony Tipps; his nephew, Kyland Tipps; and his childhood best friend, Chris Greene.

The visitation will be 1PM-2PM, Friday, March 7th, 2025 in Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center. The Funeral Service will be 2PM in Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with the burial following at Mary Frances Danner Cemetery located at 1273 Buffalo Shoals Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
