Kimlyn Dollars

Kimlyn 'Kim' Jewel Hawn Dollars, 59, of Boone, NC, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in her home.  Born December 27, 1957, in Catawba County, she was a daughter of Kenneth Hawn Sr. and Bobbie Hawn Campbell. Kim was a dedicated employee of Watauga Medical Center.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and loving on her cats.  Kim is survived by her mother, Bobbie Campbell, her sister, Mitzi Hawn Merritt and husband Jimmie Merritt, her nephew James Merritt and wife Mollie Merritt, and nieces Maria Merritt Bard and husband Brian Bard and Ashley Hawn Presnell and husband Jordan Presnell. She had 4 great nephews and 1 great niece.   She was preceded in death by her husband Bill McMorrow, her father Kenneth Hawn Sr., her brother Kenneth Hawn Jr., and a nephew Rodney Dean. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, August 5, 2017 from 2 to 5 p.m., at The Dam Site Shelter at Kerr Scott Dam & Reservoir. 499 Reservoir Road, Wilkesboro, NC.
