Kou Her

Kou Her, 17, of Stafford Street, Conover died Friday, December 31, 2010 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born, January 20, 1993 in Thailand, he was the son of Leng Teng Her & Trou Chang of the home. Kou was a senior at Bunker Hill High School. Two sisters, Mai Nou Her and Betty Her, both of the home; five brothers, Khou Her, Kee Her, Keag Her, Cheng Her and Chia Her, all of the home survive him. The Hmong funeral will begin 8:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Startown Gathering Center at Jenkins Funeral Home in Newton and conclude Sunday, January 16, 2011 at noon. Burial will follow Startown/Jenkins Cemetery in Newton. Condolence messages may be sent to www.jenkinsfuneralhome.net.
