Lara Shelton

Lara Ann Shelton, 32, of Oak Street Lincolnton died Thursday February 12, 2009 at her residence. Born July 13, 1976 in Cabarrus County she was the daughter of Fred Robert Thompson, Jr. of Midland and Vickie Ann Elwood Kiser of Lincolnton. In addition to her parents, her step father, Dennis Kiserâ?? a daughter, Sierra Davis of Lincolnton; a son, Jordan Shelton of Lincolnton; a sister, Mary Evans of Whitsell, NC; paternal grandmother, Rachel Thompson Nance of Midland; maternal grandparents, Rev. Robert and Mrs. Margaret Elwood of Lincolnton, survive her. A son, Brandon Davis preceded her in death. A Celebration of Laraâ??s life will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday February 17, 2009 at Union Road Church of God with Pastor Lane Lavender officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to Sierra Davis and Jordan Shelton Education Fund, c/o Citizens South Bank, 3135 Dallas High Shoals Rd.
