Larry Eugene Brittain 71 of Newton died Friday, October 20th, 2017 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born August 19th, 1946 he was the son of the late Morris Brittain and Honor Hartman Brittain. Larry is survived by his daughter, Emily Brittain Miller, grandchildren, Emma Brantley, Jessica McGregor, Laura "Loras" Scott, Allen Scott, 3 great-grandsons & 2 great-granddaughters.
He is also survived by a brother, Roger Brittain, as well as special friend, Lynda Spann. A Celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
