Laura Jean Jenkins, 54 of 19th Street NW, Hickory died Wednesday, February 9, 2012 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born August 29, 1957 she was the daughter of the late Warren G. Jenkins and Bonnie Lee Ledford Jenkins. Two sons, Daniel Lee Warren Jenkins of Hickory and Jacob Matthew Triplett of Hickory; a sister, Mary Lackey of Hickory; two brothers, Jr. Jenkins and wife Linda of Hickory and Johnny Jenkins of Hildebran; and a grand-daughter, Faith Elizabeth Jenkins survive her. A brother, Donald Jenkins preceded her in death. There will be a private family viewing on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the funeral home.
