Laura Moody

Laura Ann Moody 57 of Hickory died Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care. Born February 25th, 1960 she was the daughter of the late Dean Yates and Mary Rosenbalm Yates.  Fiancé Kelly Bolick, two daughters; Chasity Partin and husband Kiowa of Newton, Amber Madewell and husband Robert of Granite Falls, one son; Dennis Yates and wife Hilary of Lenoir, one sister; Anderia Arnette and husband Roger of Hickory, one brother; Dean Yates of Hickory, six grandchildren; Summer, K.C., Kaleb, Dustin, Caden, and Megan, three great grandchildren; Cristalee, Braxton, and Jack survive her.  A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel.
