Lauren Nixon

Lauren Alynn Nixon passed away on July 7th, 2024, at the age of 41.
She was born October 8th, 1982, the daughter of Tina Steele Penn and Stephen Alan Penn.
Lauren loved everyone, and she had special relationships with each and every person. She and her children made so many memories together, and they’ll cherish every one.
She is survived by her children, Russell, Toby, Shenandoah, and Clara, and their father, Josh; her partner, Jacob; her parents; her siblings, Charles and Faith; and her brother-in-law Jesse.
Those who preceded her in death include her grandparents, Russell Forrest Steele, Bessie Horton Steele, Edward Penn, and Carrie Pyle Penn.
A private family service was held at the memorial garden at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 21st at 3:00 p.m. at New Perth ARP Presbyterian Church in Troutman, North Carolina.
