Leon Gore 52 of Lincolnton died Sunday, October 5th, 2014 at CMC Charlotte Born November 20th, 1961 He was the son of the late Richard Cromwell and Francis Jones. In addition to his former wife Donna Gore of Hickory, NC, a significant other Marie Querry of Morganton. A daughter Victoria Gore of Hickory, NC; two sons LaDoux Wilson and wife Ayaka of Jacksonville, FL, Jordan Gore and wife Jacquelynne of Hickory, NC; three sisters Margaret Payne of Lincolnton, NC, Patricia Powell of Hickory, NC, Donna Jones and husband Mario of Lincolnton; three brothers Richard Gore of Charlotte, NC, Douglas Gore of Charlotte, NC, Robert Powell of Hickory, NC; eight grandchildren survive him; and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 3:00pm Monday October 13, 2014 at Jenkins funeral Home Chapel with Douglas Gore officiating. The burial will follow at Brookford Cemetery. The visitation will be one hour prior.
