Leona Marie Matney, 71 of Harmony died Tuesday, August 11th, 2015 at Davis Regional Medical Center. Born February 24th, 1944 she was the daughter of Mose Christian and Pearl Christian.
A son, Ronald Matney of the home; a sister, Diane Hubbard and husband Garreth of Caretta, WV; three brothers, Leonard Christian of Statesville, Joe Christian and wife Anita of Statesville and Hobart Christian and wife, of Ohio; two sisters, Lucille Quesenberry of Statesville and Margie Rowe of White Sulpher Springs, WV; grandchildren, Randy, Kimberly, Samantha, Brittany and Jeffery and a number great grandchildren survive her.
Her husband, Ronald Curtis Matney; son, Randy Lynn Christian; and a brother, Ted Christian preceded her in death.
The funeral will be 11:00 am Friday, August 14th, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harold Mash and Gene Castevens officiating.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 am Friday, August 14th, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
