Lester Hastings

Lester Ray Hastings 68 of Hickory died February 16, 2013 at NC Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem. Born October 15th, 1944 in Mecklenburg County, he was the son of Charlie and Gladys Hastings, he worked thirty years at Carolina Mills Plant Three.
A daughter, Millie Stanley of Hickory and husband Gordon of Elkland, PA; two sons, Ben Hastings and wife Dawn of Four Oaks, NC and Donald Campbell of Morganton; two sisters, Ann Parker and Husband Freddie of Lincolnton, and Evelyn Scruggs of Statesville; three Brothers, David "Bud" Hastings and wife Bobby of Woodlief, NC, Jimmy Hastings and wife Gwen of Statesville, Johnny Hastings and wife Barbara of Conover, a sister in Law, JoAnn Hastings of Statesville; two grandchildren, Devin and Destiny Stanley survive him.
A brother, Dwight B. Hastings and two grandchildren, Joseph Lee Hastings and Luke McCoy Hastings preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Lester's life will be 3:00pm Saturday February 23, 2013 at Trinity Full Gospel Church Hwy 70 East Catawba, NC. Pastor Marvin Hastings will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm Saturday at the church.
