Linda Faye Ashburner, 77, of Hickory, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Carolina Caring. Born November 18th, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret Jewel Smith.
Surviving Lindas passing includes her husband, Michael Ashburner; sons, Stan Smith and Richard Alex Ford; brother, Ted Smith; sister, Libby and granddaughter, Katelin Chambers.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her younger brother, Larry Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Chaplain Kathy officiating. A receiving of friends will be held an hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
