Linda Sue Barnes 77, of Hickory passed away Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born December 22nd, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Edith Edge Story.
Three sons Brent Barnes of Hickory, Chris Barnes and wife Mindy of Hickory, and Mark Barnes and wife Laura of Lenoir; two brothers Richard Story and wife Kay of Graham, NC, and Jack Story and wife Nancy of Lenoir; and three grandchildren, Derek Barnes, Blair Barnes, and William Barnes survive her.
In addition to her parents, her husband Henry William Barnes preceded her in death.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
