Linda Cochran

Linda Mae Cochran, 74, of Conover passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born November 8th, 1948, she was the daughter of Arch Clinton Benfield and Elsie Mae Brown Benfield.

Linda was a loving woman, who treated everyone she met with kindness. She was a member of Meadow Ridge Baptist Church in Maiden.

She is survived by her good friend Patricia Schronce, her children Teresa Lail (husband Tony), Pam Benfield, and Ronnie Benfield, six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Cochran and her sister Elizabeth Benfield.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home.

The funeral will be 3:00 PM Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Causby officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Ridge Church Cemetery in Maiden.
