Lloyd Daniel Byrd, 85, of Hickory passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Carolina Caring. Born August 21st, 1936 he was the son of Jack Elijah and Sarah Leotha Byrd.
He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Mauldin and husband Clifford of Hickory; three sons, Randy Byrd and wife Annette of Hickory, Danny Byrd and wife Rita of Hickory and Tracy Byrd and wife Shirleen of Hickory; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren survive him.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ada Byrd of 65 years, both his parents, and all of his brothers and sisters.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 28th, 2022, at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center with Pastor Paul Deal officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 28th, 2022, at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.
