Lois Catherine Setzer Moser, 88 of Rock Barn Road died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born February 3, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Loy Cope Setzer and Elsie Rachel Dellinger Setzer. She was a loving mother and grandmother and life-long member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She leaves to cherish her loving memories to a daughter, Kathy Ann Moser Manasco & husband Hancel of Claremont; a son, Randy Philip Moser & wife Janice of Claremont; a sister, Janice Sigmon & husband Jerry of Claremont; three brothers, Bobby Setzer & wife Alma Jean of Claremont, Gene Setzer & wife Harolene of Claremont, Mackie Setzer & wife Betty of Claremont; 8 grand-children, Shana Manasco-Schronce & husband Jamie of Conover, Dana Campbell & husband Jimmy of Maiden, Randy Lee Moser & wife Donna of Conover, Randall Sigmon of Claremont, Jonathan Moser & wife Jennifer of Claremont, Jeromie Moser & wife Angie of Claremont, Kimberly Hiss & husband Robert of Polaski, VA., and Greg Moser of Taylorsville; 20 great grand-children; and six great, great grand-children; a brother in law, Ken Hollar of Claremont survive her. In addition to her late husband, Ben Kermit Moser, Sr.; a son, Ben Moser, Jr.; a sister, Patsy Setzer Hollar and a daughter in law, Pat Moser preceded her in death. A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Bethel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Craig Schultz and Rev. Eric Hollar will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from 1-2:00 p.m. at the church. Pallbearers include Jonathan Moser, Jeromie Moser, Zachary Moser, Chris Moser, Jamie Schronce and Jimmy Campbell, Jr. The family would like to thank the staff of Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley for their loving care. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, 5759 Bolick Road, Claremont, NC 28610 or to Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
