Lonnie Wayne Fredell, 72, of Hickory passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 in his home. Born, April 30th, 1950 he was the son of the late Samuel Edgar Fredell and Mae Willard Willis.
He is survived by his three children, Laura Fredell (Ralph) of Gaffney, James Fredell (Betsy) of Lincolnton, and Jason Fredell of Lincolnton; four siblings, Louise Smith of Lincolnton, Howard Fredell of Newton, Carl Fredell of Dallas, and Virginia Decker of Morganton; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by multiple brothers and sisters; a daughter, Christina Renae Hinson; a son, Jonathan Wayne Johnston (Fredell); and four grandchildren, Sebastian Fredell, Teresa Rose Fiandaca, Cassandra Parlier, and Kaley Shae Fredell.
A private family service will be at a later date.
