Lorene Huffman Kale Reynolds ?Memaw? Mama went home to Heaven Tuesday, November 13, 2012. She was born in Catawba County on June 15th, 1937 to Homer Clint and Myrlie Miller Huffman. She graduated with the first class of Bandy?s High School in 1955. She retired from Joan Fabrics and was employed at Randolph's Billiards until June 2012. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Newton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved mother-in-law, Violet Reynolds, her son, Joe Eugene Reynolds, a brother, Billy Huffman, nephew, Larry Huffman and niece, Cindy Butler. Husbands, Charles Kale and William Reynolds. Surviving are her daughters, Denise Tuthill and Rick Whisnant, Veda Blanchard and Floyd of Hickory, Alesia Bare and Doug of Wyoming; a son, Bobby Reynolds and Melinda of Alabama; a sister, Margie Cruse and Jerry ; brothers, Tony Huffman and Judy, Jimmy Huffman and Karen; a sister in law, Joyce of Claremont; 16 grand-children, whom she loved dearly, Cary ?Trey? Broadwell III and Jennifer, Aaron Broadwell, Kyle Kale, Wesley Tuthill and Laurel Tuthill, Jason ?Andy? Reynolds and Brittany, Wesley Reynolds and Amanda, Angel Fredell and Markus, Jay Yount and Misty Thiel, and Crystal Summers and ?Buddy? Blanchard; 13 great grand-children, who were the love of her life, Cary ?TJ? Dakota, Sierra, Anthony, Shayla, Caleb, Levi, Alex, Zeke, Jubilee, Caleb R., Tristis, and Rylee Joe. The family will receive visitors from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Newton. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2012 in the chapel. Burial will be at Eastview Cemetery. Pastor Fred Thompson and Pastor Steve Houser will officiate. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
