Loretta Hawkins 64, of Newton died Sunday, October 28th, 2018 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born June 14th, 1954 she was the daughter of the late Leslie Sears and Maudie Sisk Sears.
Her husband of 24 years Jerry Hawkins; a daughter Kelli Hawkins of Connelly Springs; her son Jeffery Scott Hawkins of Newton; four sisters Mary Sexton and husband Jackie of Grandview, WV, Linda Kay Mills and husband Willard of Sandstone,WV, Drema Shrewsberry and husband Randy, Patty White and Fiance James Carson of Newton; six brothers Leslie Sears and wife Carol of Grandview, WV, Fred Sears and wife Linda of Crab Orchard, WV, Clarence Sears and wife Patty of Jonben,WV, Douglas Sears and wife Angela of Jonben,WV, Kelly Sears of sandstone, WV, Michael Sears and wife Belinda of Cool Ridge; and her grandchild Emma Hawkins of Connolly Springs survive her.
The funeral will be 3:00 pm Thursday, November 1st, 2018 at Fireco Independent Church, Fire Creek Ave, Coal City, WV 25823. Burial will follow at Jonben Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm Thursday, November 1st, 2018 at Fireco Independent Church.
