Louie Delgado, 81, of Newton passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born April 27th, 1940 he was the son of the late Jose Luis Delgado Reynaga and Maria Guadalupe .
He is survived by his wife Bertha Leon Delgado; three daughters Yolanda Delgado of California, Blanca Delgado (Luis) of Mexico, and Judith Delgado of California; five sons Jose Delgado (Ingris Ardila) of Hickory, Danny Delgado (Paula) of California, Louie Delgado (Blanca) of California, Edgar Delgado of Newton, and Jose Louis Delgado of Mexico; four grandchildren Alani Delgado, Daniel Delgado, Liliana Delgado, Hailey Delgado; three sisters Theresa Delgado of Newton, Martha Delgado Pinon of Texas, Maria Delgado of Newton; two brothers Jose Javier Delgado of Newton and Hector Delgado of Mexico; and many more family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Raul Delgado.
There will be a Funeral Mass on Friday December 17, 2021 at 3:00 PM at St Joseph Catholic Church at 720 W 13th St, Newton, NC 28658.
The family will have a public visitation and memorial service at Jenkins Funeral Home at a later date.
