Lucille Lail

Lucille Helms Hoyle Lail, 87 of Charlotte died Thursday, March 19th, 2015 at White Oak Manor in Charlotte. Born April 10th, 1927 she was the daughter of the late William Grady Helms and Tolley Bernice Edison Helms. A daughter, Annette McDaris of Charlotte; two sons, Steve Hoyle and wife Anne of Newton, Jerry Hoyle and wife Dorothy of Conover; sisters, Prue Gailes of Lincolnton, Lois Beal of Sanford, NC, Barbara Aasness of Locust, NC, Shirley Finney of Hickory Elsie Herman of Hickory; two brothers, Conley Helms of Hickory and Ervin Helms of Charlotte; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great, great grand-child survive her. Her husband, Marshall Wilson Hoyle; a brother, Edward Helms; a sister, Dorothy Herman; a daughter, Linda Roberts and a grandson Dennis Hoyle preceded her in death. A Celebration of Lucille's life will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 23rd, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Frady officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Monday, March 23rd, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
