Ma. Zavala Lopez

Maria Luisa Zavala Lopez 70 of Hickory died Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born Sunday, October 5th, 1952 she was the daughter of Jose Zavala and Hermelinda Lopez.

Ma. Luisa is survived by Emilio Lemus Rodriguez (husband); Juan Luis Lemus Zavala (son); German Lemus Zavala (son); Veronica Lemus Zavala (daughter); Ma. Ines Lemus Zavala (daughter); Mario Lemus Zavala (son); Silvina Lemus Zavala (daughter); Salvador Manuel Lemus Zavala (son). Ma. Luisa is also survived by her devoted grandchildren: Humberto Lemus (German Lemus Zavala) Jose Mozqueda Lemus, Seiry Lizbeth Mozqueda Lemus, Josefina Mozqueda Lemus, Alexis Elizabeth Mozqueda Lemus, Angela Saray Mozqueda Lemus (Veronica Lemus Zavala); Sebastian Vargas Lemus, Ana Karen Vargas Lemus, Angel Gabriel Vargas Lemus, Lucero Vargas Lemus (Ma. Ines Lemus Zavala); Liliana Lemus (Mario Lemus Zavala); Eduardo Ibarra Lemus, Judith Ibarra Lemus (Silvina Lemus Zavala); Mari-Paz Ibarra Lemus, Belinda Ibarra Lemus (Silvina Lemus Zavala); Daniela Lemus Aguilera (Salvador Manuel Lemus Zavala).

Ma. Luisa was born in Providencia, Yuriria Guanajuato, Mexico, and loved her family. She was very active in her church.

The Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 4 PM at St. Aloysius Church, 921 Second Street NE, Hickory, with Deacon Francisco officiating.
