Mai Vang

Mai Yer Vang 55 of Morganton died June 16th, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center-Charlotte. Born September 17th, 1957 She was the Daughter of Chong Yee Vang and Lia Lee. In addition to her Husband Chang Lee, a daughter Palou Craig and husband Reggie of Detroit, MI.; three sons Toua Lee and wife Elizabeth of Morganton, Kaying Lee of Morganton,and Steven Lee of Morganton; A sister Nao Vang of Saint Paul, MN.; three brothers Lee Vang and wife Bee of Appleton, WI, Kaua Vang and wife Zoua of Fresno, CA., and Ger Vang and wife Paya of Fresno, CA.; and eight Grandchildren survive Her. Three brothers Tou Vang, Teng Vang, and Neng Vang preceded her in death. The Hmong funeral celebration will begin, Friday, June 28th, 2013 and conclude on Sunday, June 30th at Startown Gathering Center and the New Jenkins Pavilion in Newton.
