Maolee Vang

Maolee Vang, 87 of Stoney Lane, Statesville, NC died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was born April 9, 1922 in Laos to the late Naoneng Lee & Heu Vang. She is survived by one daughter, Mee Vang of Laos; five sons, Paul Vang, Fred Vang, Bob Vang and Heu Vang all of Statesville, and Billy Vang of Mt. Airy; one brother, Chong Neng Lee of Laos; several grandchildren & great-grandchildren survive her. Her husband, Chershoua Vang preceded her in death. Hmong Funeral Services will be Friday, June 26, Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 at Startown Gathering Center at Jenkins Funeral Home in Newton.
