Margaret Abee

Margaret Leola Davidson Abee, 91 of Brookwood Lane SE, Hickory died December 22, 2012 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born January 7, 1921 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Martin Luther Davidson and Sarah Pauline Elizabeth Davidson. Margaret was employed with Moose Products for 20 years. She was a good cook and always was willing to do for others. The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice for their tender loving care. A daughter, Terri Abee McClelland and husband Casey of Hickory; a son, Fred Hollar and wife Donna of Hickory; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren survive her. Her first husband, Carroll Hollar and her second husband, Jones Abee; a daughter, Margaret Hollar Moretz; two sons, Eddie Hollar and David Hollar; two sisters, Ruth Cook and Gladys Setzer; two brothers, Frank Davidson and Earl Davidson preceded her in death. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Hickory. Pastor Robert Stevens will officiate.
