Margaret Teague Burleson, 77, of Hickory passed away Saturday, August 18th, 2018 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born February 1st, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Hoyle Pinkey Teague and Bertha Lail Teague. Margaret was strong willed and loved to travel. She loved to be around people and just talk. She loved her family very much.
Her husband of 47 years Carl Burleson of the home, a son Jeremy Burleson and wife Janess of Hickory NC; a sister Lois Lanning and husband Fred Lanning of Taylorsville; three brothers, Arnold Teague of Conover, Billy Teague and wife Lois of Taylorsville, Lawrence Teague and wife Nancy of Hickory survive her.
In addition to her parents; her sister Joyce Scott; and her brother Hubert Teague precede her in death.
The funeral will be 3:00pm Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 at LifePoint Church with Pastor Harvey Turner, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Jenkins Cemetery in Newton.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 at LifePoint Church in Hickory.
