Margaret Benfield Cook, 79, of Catawba passed away July 5th, 2023, in Lincoln Rehabilitation Center. Born, July 15th, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Millard Benfield and Catherine Richards Benfield.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Eugene Cook Sr. of the home; a daughter, Penny Lasher and husband David of Catawba; two sons, Cecil Cook Jr. of Maiden, Robert Lee Cook and wife Jodia of Catawba; two brothers, Kenny Benfield and wife Diane, and Truey Benfield; and a host of many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Larry Benfield, Dale Benfield, Geneva York, and Wilma Benfield.
